Her parents were Ceto and Phorcys. Medusa married Posiden and had children who were a Pegasus and Chrysaor. She had 2 sisters who were gorgons who were Stheno and Euryale. Medusa was beheaded by the hero Persues . When she died her full grown children leaped out of her.
Medusa was once very beautiful and lived far in the north where the sun did not shine so she asked Athena if she could go to the south to see the sun. Athena said no and " Medusa said Athena said no because she was jealous of her beauty and that angered Athena. Athena punished her by giving her snakes for hair so she was so ugly that who ever looked at her turned to stone.
Cerberus
Cerberus is a three-haeded dog with a tail of a snake's. Cerberus is the gaurdian of Hades. It guards the gates of the Underworld. Cerberus keeps people from escaping the Underworld after they cross the river Styx. Cerbus was captured by Hercules. Hercules asked Hades if he could take Cerberus to the surface. Hades said "Only if you can do this without using weapons". Hercules was able to do this and take Cerberus to the surface of Earth.
Hydra
Hydra is a 6 headed beast.but only one head shoots fire .Hydra is the guardian of posiedin. it guards the sea.one of the many offspring of half-woman and half-serpent Echidna and 100-headed Typhon, was a many headed serpent who lived in the swamps and Herculeas killed hydra by cutting off his head then burning its neck. If you do not burn its neck, the head will regrow.
Minotaur
The Minotaur is a half-man half-bull that was kept in the Labryinth. He was fed seven men and seven women. Minos, the Minotaur's father, prayed to Poseidon to give him a white bull, as a sign of support (the Cretan Bull). He was to slay the bull to show honor to Poseidon, but he decided to keep it instead because of its beauty. He thought Poseidon wouldn't care if he kept the bull and sacrificed one of his own. To punish Minos, Aphrodite made Pasiphaë, Minos' wife, fall in love with the bull. Pasiphaë had the typical craftsman Daedalus make a hollow wooden cow, and climbed inside it in order to mate with the white bull. The baby of the two was the Minotaur. Pasiphaë nursed him in his early years, but as he grew he became ferocious, being the unnatural offspring of man and beast, he had no natural source of nourishment and so it ate men for food.
Phoenix
Phoenix, in Greek mythology, is the son of Amyntor.its mom is To please his mother, he seduced his father’s concubine. After a violent quarrel Amyntor cursed him with childlessness, and Phoenix escaped to Peleus (king of the Myrmidons in Thessaly), who made him responsible for the upbringing of his son Achilles. According to Book IX of Homer’s Iliad, Phoenix accompanied the young Achilles to Troy and was one of the envoys who tried to reconcile him with Agamemnon, chief commander of the Greek forces, after Agamemnon and Achilles had quarreled.
